Mark said yes, swapped aerospace for biomedicine, and has spent two decades proving that millimetres > megawatts when it comes to human health.

His latest venture, WearOptimo, uses hair-width micro-electrodes that sit one skin-layer deep, exactly where hydration shifts first. And an on-device AI converts those signals into live read-outs.

Why hydration?

Kendall holds more than 160 patents, earlier founded Vaxxas to commercialise his Nanopatch vaccine platform, and remains driven by a simple goal: “Use the skin not just to listen to the body but to save it.”
