Dr Roslyn Hendriks is an experienced CEO, entrepreneur and angel investor with lifelong success in founding new companies, commercialising new technologies, accelerating profitable growth of emerging businesses, coaching executives and companies, and serving on Boards and Advisory Boards.

She has repeated these successes in angel, seed, VC and high net-worth-backed start-ups and other profit and non-profit organisations spanning four decades. Internationally versed.

From 2001-2022, she co-founded and was Founding CEO of three start-ups: Genetrax (Australia), Immunexpress (USA) and Tend Health (USA), the latter a spin-out from the University of Washington and Seattle Children’s Research Institute. Under her leadership, these ventures raised about $100 million in dilutive and non-dilutive capital, cleared products through the FDA, delivered products and services into revenue, and built international business and technology partnerships and high-performance teams.

As Founding CEO of Immunexpress from 2006-2017, the company developed the award-winning SeptiCyte technology (Medtech Insight Awards 2018, “Best Proof of Value of an Innovation”); SeptiCyte LAB was the first RNA-based multiplex molecular diagnostic to be cleared (Feb 2017) by the FDA for infectious disease.

Roslyn is currently a Non-Executive Director of Uptake Health Capital Partners (Gold Coast), Provectus Algae (Noosaville), Invasive Animals Ltd (Canberra), UniSA Ventures (Adelaide), Chair of the 66ten IRC for WEHI Ventures Pty Ltd (Melbourne), Managing Director of C-Suite Corporate Pty Ltd, and is an Advisor to GMJ Technologies Inc. (Seattle, USA), Tend Health Inc. (Seattle, USA), UQ’s Institute for Molecular Bioscience (Brisbane), UQ’s School of Veterinary Science Alumni Group (Gatton), Nanosene Pty Ltd (South Africa), and Cherehani Labs (Kenya). She is also a Mentor for the Unreasonable Group (US, UK).

She is qualified in veterinary medicine and medical pharmacology (The University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia; University of California, Davis) and has a summa cum laude MBA from the Queensland University of Technology. In July 2026, she was awarded an Honorary Doctorate by The University of Queensland.
