WearOptimo has welcomed another former sporting champion to the team.
As exclusively announced in the Australian Financial Review, rugby league great Adam MacDougall has contributed to the $8 million funding secured in our latest capital raise.
He joins other fresh investors and existing supporters including Aspen Medical and F1 champion Mark Webber.
For founder and CEO Professor Mark Kendall it’s a natural alignment of vision and entrepreneurial expertise, noting Adam founded hugely successful Australian meal replacement business The Man Shake.
“Adam has a keen interest in the practical application of technology, not just to health, but also to longevity, which is a critical focus of our Microwearable platform in creating time for treatment and better outcomes in critical areas such as hydration,” Mark said.
