Advanced sensor technology

Our minimally invasive electrodes access the viable epidermis, enabling high-fidelity measurement of hydration and direct access to circulating biomarkers, to evaluate a variety of health states.

Continuous and user-friendly

Our approach offers continuous pain-free data collection. Our electrodes are above the depth of pain receptors in the skin, which enables real-time measurement of hydration and other biomarkers via a wearable sensor.

Seamless wearable design

Our small, lightweight wearable sensors can be applied comfortably at multiple locations to ensure minimal disruption and continuous hydration monitoring – at work, while training, or in the field.

AI-driven and intelligent

Our unique approach to signal processing utilises machine learning and artificial intelligence to detect small shifts in hydration from a data-rich mix of skin bio-signals. This will enable intelligent alerts and personalised feedback tailored to individual hydration goals – by learning from each individual’s unique physiology.

Hydration is an area of health that can have a powerful impact on our body’s performance. However, there is often a lack of true awareness of this impact, and it is often poorly monitored. Many people aren’t aware that being less than optimally hydrated can have the same effect on brain function as being over the blood alcohol limit. Yet for the most part, we haven’t advanced beyond outdated monitoring benchmarks such as evaluating urine colour.

WearOptimo’s hydration Microwearable sensor, which is under development, advances these benchmarks through enabling real-time continuous monitoring of hydration, whilst our next-generation wearables will enable monitoring of other health states.
